Motorized adjustable pergolas (rotating)
Motorized pergola (adjustable pergola) is an innovative product both in Israel and abroad. Unlike fixed pergolas, the strips of electric pergola rotate around their axes and allow the entry of light to the required extent – up to complete shutting against light. Motorized pergola includes hidden motors and LED lighting, which allows you to enjoy the pergola even in the dark hours.
Motorized pergola is built entirely of aluminum and stainless steel hinges and has no plastic parts at all.

Motorized pergola structure

Wide strips, 16 centimeters wide, in order not to create the impression of a louvered shutter, capable of rotating around the axis that passes through their center. The rotation angle ranges from 0 degrees with respect to the horizontal to about 105 degrees above it.

In the horizontal position, the pergola is closed. In the position of opening above 90 degrees, 80% of the sky view is visible and open to light. The maximum opening is used to clean the pergola from above with the help of a water jet that is sprayed on the strips from below.

The strips are built from an aluminum profile with a thickness of about 2 mm (not thin aluminum sheet or iron sheet!).

A rubber profile is inserted at each edge of each strip in order to reduce the noise caused by contact between adjacent strips. Because the pergola is built from thick aluminum profiles, it is quieter in the rain than other pergolas built from thin sheets.

Each strip has four stainless steel hinges that allow the strip to be rotated to any desired angle. The strips are assembled on a built-in profile that serves as a “hidden and concealed” aluminum gutter for draining the water. The gutters can be drained, in accordance with the design of the slopes, to a required location.

Motorized pergola is powered by linear motors (actuators) that are activated by a switch and/or single/multi-channel radio remote control – in accordance with the order. The motors are waterproof to IP 65 and have a 3-year warranty.

Motorized pergola remains looking like new for many years, it is fully resistant to rain and heat wave and needs no care or maintenance.
